The Japanese love everything in green tea flavor, we have Kit Kat in green tea flavor, mochi, and my favorite ice cream as well. Since I moved to the US from Japan, I’ve been quite disappointed with the green tea ice cream here because it’s too creamy. I prefer green tea ice cream to have a tart bitterness taste and not too creamy. I am happy to announce I found a recipe that closely resembles the green tea ice cream I enjoyed growing up in Japan.

My favorite part about going to Chinese restaurants is the complimentary dessert soups they serve at the end of the meal. I love sweets and it’s definitely one of my weakness. Among all the dessert soups, my two favorites are red bean and taro tapioca. I was so excited to find this recipe and share with my reader. Enjoy.
