Classic Japanese side dish, boiled spinach marinated in light soy and garnished with bonito flakes. Very simple and quick to prepare.
My son loves homemade sesame dressing more than store-bought pre-made ones. I usually experiment with various recipes and this particular one is my husband’s favorite because of the strong vinegar taste. If you prefer really fine and smooth taste, ground the sesame finer. Otherwise it’s fine to leave the grounded sesame a bit coarse, it adds a new texture and dimension to the salad.
