Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and I gathered some chocolate recipes from the Just One Cookbook.com archive to share with you.
Recently my daughter kept getting sick (and still a bit sick) and I haven’t had the chance to squeeze in some time to make desserts for this year’s Valentine’s Day. Hopefully you will enjoy these yummy recipes from the past and I will try to add more dessert recipes for next year’s Valentine’s Day roundup!
As some of you are aware, I’m still a novice baker who only bakes and makes desserts occasionally; however, these recipes are my family and friends’ favorites and I hope you enjoy making these delicious chocolate recipes.

Hi Nami, Simenon The recipe of nama chocolates gives a link to the chocolate soufflé. Also nice, but I was curious what the Nama ones were.
Thanks!

It looks to me like you make a lot of desserts and that you’re very good at it! Love your Valentine’s Day collection – very yummy xx
Oh my gosh Nami, everything looks so good. I think the bananas are my fave. I tend to be drawn to simple. Your chocolate ice cream is really amazing too. So sorry your little pumpkin has been sick. There sure is stuff going around right now.

For someone who doesn’t bake much and is a novice, you sure do an outstanding job! Great selection. Hope your daughter gets well – there’s been some kind of nasty bug going around that takes some time to get over. Anyway, fun post – thanks.
Hope your daughter fully recovers soon. Lovely roundup.
My favorite is definitely the Nama Chocolates….I get someone to buy these delicious chocolate from the Japanese Brand, Royce….absolutely devine! Have a good weekend!
I hope your daughter gets better soon Nami! The poor little thing! And thank you for your very helpful references for recipes
Dear Nami, thank you so much for including my truffles into your chocolate recipes! It’s extremely kind of you
They are however nothing compared to the wide range of chocolate delights you have shared with us! And you still call yourself a novice baker??? You are just teasing us
That’s all. St Valentine’s or not, I will certainly be making something chocolatey soon. With these inspiring photos I will not resist my craving!
So many beautiful desserts Nami. I am very impressed. I esp love your nama chocolate (cos I’ve tested it!) and your chocolate souffle looks amazing too.
Not sure if u celebrate CNY since your Hubby is Taiwanese, but if you do, Happy CNY to you and yr family! x
How much would my kids love to come to your house for these treats! They love, love, love chocolate. I just so rarely bake with it – mostly because I don’t eat. Every once and a while I surprise them with a chocolate treat though. These are wonderful treats for Valentine’s too! Enjoy your weekend Nami.

I have a severe weakness when it comes to chocolate. You are killing my will power right now, Nami!
Thanks for pulling this post together!!! I was thinking about trying my hand at a chocolate souffle next week and here it is. I remember this post and so glad you brought it back!!! We had a chocolate souffle at a restaurant this summer and it was served with a late harvest Zinfandel. So good! Sounds like a great V-Day dinner, I mean dessert
, to me. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Excellent recap of your chocolate creations…!!!
Hope your daughter is better now. Kids used to be sick so easy, specially if they are at school.

Oh no
I hope your daughter gets well soon, it’s hard for little kids though, like my nephew he’ll get better but then he’ll go to school and someone else will be sick and he’ll become sick again.
I love your recipes from the past especially the NAMA Chocolates!!!!
Hi Nami, seeing your nama chocolate post (I was almost about to write “Nami Chocolate”
) made me remember it from last year. I used to be crazy for ROYCE when I was in Japan and it still makes me sad that I can’t get it here. I read that it’s all made from special Hokkaido cow milk/cream and not sold at all outside Japan, right? Anyway – you made me remember how I was planning on making it and never got around to it so this year I must give it a try. Am going to favourite the recipe now!
These are all wonderful ideas for Valentines Day, Nami and not to mention delicious! Well, I wish you and Shen to have a Happy Valentines Day!
Every dish looks so sweet and delicious. I don’t even start thinking about Valentines day desserts yet-)) Very slow this year. I am thinking to make a chocolate soufflé or chocolate creme brûlée. Thank you for amazing round-up!
What a beautiful selection of chocolate treats, Nami! I think you’ve graduated from “novice baker” now…
I love all your chocolate recipes – especially the chocolate gateau. Great job, Nami!
All the photos are beautiful as well but my favorite is the Nama chocolate one. The contrast of colors is gorgeous plus tell a story. Happy V-day!
Wow! So much delicious chocolatey goodness. I bet there are plenty of happy Valetine’s out there now
Seems Delicious…A treat for the eyes and the stomach…
